Established in November 1999, WAP Insight is the longest running Internet
news site dedicated to the WAP sector. WAP Insight is also the only WAP newsletter which
can be read in both HTML and WML. It is a strictly a B2B site so our target audience is vendors; distributors; resellers; developers;
ISVs; Web designers; and network operators.
We also don't actively discourage anyone with a keen interest in
WAP such as students; programmers or contractors with a desire to discover the truth about
WAP. We are not B2C. There is no way WAP Insight aims to be a portal; an ISP or email provider. We focus on information which will affect the
WAP industry which means maintaining an independence from any of the WAP Forum. Plus we cover the main
2.5G technologies: - i-mode from NTT DoCoMo; WAP, GPRS and HSCSD.
WAP Insight's essence is in being a focused search engine. In addition to providing a succinct news service covering items of relevance to the
WAP fraternity, we maintain a comprehensive back catalogue of relevant Press releases,
providing
background information on hundreds of players in the WAP sector.
